Biography

Mary Margaret McCubbin, age 89, of Monett, MO passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Mary was born on July 22, 1920 in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of the late Ami and Georgia Marshall Reynaud. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Waldensian Presbyterian Church in Monett. Mary and Troy Winfred McCubbin were united in marriage on September 16, 1939 in Monett, MO and he preceded her in death on October 06, 2003. Mary is survived by one son, Gaylen D. McCubbin of Monett; one sister Ruby Mehan of the state of CA; a son-in-law Jerry Patton of Monett; five grandchildren, Steven Patton of Monett, Stanley Patton and wife Linda of Monett, Lance McCubbin of Claremore, OK, Kaleigh Dillman of San Antonio, TX, Cody McCubbin of Dallas, TX; five great-grandchildren, Trenton Patton of Monett, Audrey Patton of Monett, Michael Dillman of TX, MaKayla Dillman of TX and Caleb McCubbin of OK. Mary was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Kay McCubbin; two brothers, Doran Reynaud and Carl Reynaud; four sisters, Maxine Tucker, Madeline Lasley, Glorine Howerton and Shirley Hanlon. Graveside services for Mrs. McCubbin will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the Waldensian Presbyterian Cemetery with Reverend Vicki Evans officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers will be Steve Patton, Stan Patton, Lance McCubbin, Cody McCubbin, David Tucker, Trenton Patton and Shiela Caddell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2009, at the funeral home.
