A History Filled With Tradition And Warmth. In 1950 Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Buchanan established Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Then in 1964 Mr. and Mrs. Glennon Holmes assumed ownership and the firm continued to grow. The business was sold in 1980 to Mr. and Mrs. Doug Hobson and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hemphill. Today, Mike and Glenda Hemphill, sole owners of Buchanan Funeral Home, assisted by Jeff James, continue the tradition of trusted service, as they look to the future, providing quality service with compassion and respect. Mike and Glenda Hemphill, owners of Buchanan Funeral Home are a constant source of support and encouragement to the families they serve.
